With an increasing urbanisation of the World population, there are opportunities in rationalising data and tools enabling efficient navigation through urban spaces for different types of users.

Skymantics Universal Routing Engine (SURE) is an API-based service for urban navigation compliant with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards. This flexible platform supports multiple open data formats (NSG, OSM, HERE), integration with smart city sensor networks, and user configuration of customized mobility constraints. SURE has been demonstrated in the OGC Open Routing Pilot and the Smart City Interoperability Reference Architecture (SCIRA) Pilot in the City of St Louis, MO.

We are also contributors to the European Commission (EC) H2020 project CAMERA working towards the development of a strategic roadmap for the European transport system and the generation of multimodal connectivity models for scalable evaluations.
