Airports & Airlines

Data is the driver of the digital age. Airports and airlines need up-to-date, relevant data to better manage flight disruptions, enhance navigational performance, and discover new business opportunities. The opportunity is available, but the myriad of technology options raises several challenges. The industry is converging on open standards, improved quality of information, and integration of airport/airline data and Air Traffic Management information management.

Skymantics is investigating new ways to improve the operations of air carriers, airports, and their suppliers with modern integrated IT infrastructure. Some applications include flight operation, passenger, and baggage management. We endorse open standards supported by industry associations (IATA, ACI, ATA, AEEC) in data exchange, operational coordination, and administrative control. Also, ATM information is now available via SWIM services, which can be accessed by web interfaces by airports and airlines at low cost to integrate it with business operations on ground units and into the cockpit.

Skymantics aimes to minimize design and retrofitting costs to aviation IT systems. We have experts in integration of heterogeneous resource sharing systems in airport, airline and ATM environments (CDM methodology, AIDX data exchange, ACRIS service architecture) to support integrated, airside/groundside operations, ground handling, gate management, airline operation control, and airline administration. Our team of experts works to identify the best path from product conceptualization to deployment. We can bridge the gap between users, equipment manufacturers, and service providers, to reduce the cost of ownership and operating expenses incurred by the airport or airline.
